Squat & Snatch
Division Rx

4 athletes on each team will complete:

  • AMRAP in :40 seconds, :20s rest x3
  • Air Squats

Straight into:

  • 4 minutes to find:
  • 1x Power Snatch + 1x Hang Snatch

Scoring

Score: Total Points (1 point / squat + 1 point per pound lifted)

Spread: 100 Points
2 points: Team with most points
1 point: To team that beats spread
0 Points: If team loses by more than spread

Flow

Each athlete must complete both parts (back to back)
Score = total reps + total lbs lifted
Female lifts x1.5

Standards

All movements follow typical standards
Air squats will be performed with a 'bum ball' and most show full extension (hips open and chest up) at the top
First rep of the snatch must be power from the ground, the second rep may be from any hang position and may be squat or power

Division Rx

2 Teams of 2 Athletes will complete:

Team A:
AMRAP in 5 minutes
-8x Burpee Box Jumps (30/24)
-4x DB Snatch (60/40)

Team B:
AMRAP in 5 minutes
-4x Burpee Box Jumps (30/24)
-8x DB Snatch (60/40)

Scoring

Score: Total combined reps

Spread: 40 reps

2 points: Team with most reps
1 point: To team that beats spread
0 Points: If team loses by more than spread

Flow

The first team of 2 athletes will complete AMRAP A, then the next team of 2 athletes will complete AMRAP B.
The team of 2 athletes will alternate cmpleting total rounds (all the reps) before the next athlete begins.

Standards

All movements follow typical standards
Burpee Box Jumps begins with chest hitting the ground and ends with hips extended on top of the box

A Team of 4, with 1 athlete working and 1 athlete rowing:

14min AMRAP:

  • 5, 10, 15, 20... -Thrusters (95/65) -Kettlebell Swings (24/16) -Pullups

Flow

At 3, 2,1..go, one athlete will begin rowing while another begins on the thrusters
The athletes may switch in and out at any time, in any order, as long as there is always only one athlete working at the workout, and on the rower
Athletes must tag in / out to switch any movements

Kettlebell swings - the kettlebell must be above the athletes head, but arms are not required to be extended
